Hi, I’m Morgan! I’m a doula, a wife to my best friend, and mom to 2 amazing little boys. I discovered the power that pregnancy, birth, and postpartum have to inform a woman of her strength and capabilities when I became a mother in 2023. Every joy and challenge served a purpose in uncovering a more confident, healthy, and empowered version of myself I didn’t yet know existed. I truly felt invincible, and much of that was due to the support I received. I looked around and realized it's uncommon for mothers to have the level of support I did and knew I wanted to be part of the change in filling that gap. I went through doula training when my first son was 6 months old and attended my first birth a couple months later!
I’m always amazed by God’s creativity and intentionality in designing the interconnectedness of mothers and babies—how their nervous systems rely on the presence of one another, how a baby navigates his mom's pelvis to be born, and how she produces everything her baby needs with her own body for months after birth. The list goes on forever. I don't believe God made any mistakes when he designed the physiology of this whole process, yet it can often feel confusing, complicated and overwhelming in our day and age. I love to help welcoming a baby feel the most simple, natural, and normal, yet beautiful and empowering it can possibly be for you.
I believe the childbearing year is sacred and should be treated as such.
I believe you have what it takes no matter what lies ahead.
I believe your voice as a laboring mother is the most important one in the room.
I believe your baby's experience matters, too.
I believe you deserve to know all of your options and to make your own choices.
I lean on my training with Spinning Babies to help birth unfold smoothly. I also have training in both trauma informed care and supporting families through pregnancy and infant loss.
I look forward to meeting you!

"She was a friend that felt like she had been in our lives forever, and a presence of peace that we so needed. Morgan was an answer to prayer after prayer throughout our journey. Our birth did not go as any of us had expected or planned, but you wouldn’t know it based on her professional and compassionate composure. Morgan took each surprising turn in stride, exuding nothing but peace and confidence and comfort, which in turn encouraged and empowered my husband and I to experience the same." - A.N.
"Morgan as a doula should be the biggest 'duh' in your birth plan. She’s a necessity. She is adaptable and brings peace whatever your birth may hold. We were birthing at home and she was the calm, present presence I needed all through the night. Then, when we needed to transfer she somehow rallied and met us at the hospital. In my tired state she thought to advocate for all sorts of interventions that were more natural that she knew I’d want when I couldn’t do that for myself. I think my favorite thing about her specific skill set is how she is so kind when advocating for her clients with hospital staff. " -E.S.
"I am so grateful to have found Morgan to be a doula for the birth of my first baby! Originally I had the mentality that her support would be extra. But turns out I needed Morgan much more than I ever would have imagined as the birth plan went from home birth to an induction at the hospital with several other complications. Morgan even came to visit us in the hospital after the baby was born since we were there longer due to our baby needing the NICU. Through it all Morgan was such a comfort to have and she gave me the confidence and peace that I needed. She was trustworthy and knew exactly how to help and what to say. I felt well supported and she went above and beyond expectations. Having Morgan at the birth also was nice for my husband so that he could have a break since it was all such an emotional experience. Morgan also was able to help me sort out the events of what happened and process through it which was much needed and appreciated. For any future babies Morgan will be the first on the list for doulas and probably to find out we’re having another baby!" -E.H.
"Morgan was a prayer answered for us! This was our first pregnancy journey and we had so many questions and doubts. We were so blessed to have a Morgan as our doula! She was kind, understanding, compassionate, and she understood our needs. During the labor she helped mom get through the rough times by doing exercises and techniques to make the experience better. We are forever grateful for her! Doulas are a real deal! Morgan, you are the best!" -V.M.
"Morgan was my doula for the birth of my second child. I could not have asked for a better woman to support me during my pregnancy and a pre-term labor at 34 weeks. She continuously spoke life and hope over my pregnancy and believed in my ability to have a successful VBAC. She brought a calmness and peace to my birth experience and I am so grateful for that. She has a passion for what she does and does it whole heartedly. She has a beautiful spirit, and it was a privilege to get to know her." - K.B.
"Having Morgan at the birth of our first baby absolutely made all of the difference in my birthing experience. My son wasn’t positioned right so Morgan helped me move him so that he would be. I was very anxious going into the birthing process about what would happen next. Having Morgan to lean on in those moments made me feel confident and greatly contributed to my birth experience." -K.S.
A 30 minute meeting over coffee for us to get to know each other and see if we're a good fit. I will share about my role as your doula and make myself available for any questions you may have. There is no cost for this!
* Many insurance companies are beginning to pay toward doula support. I encourage everyone to call their own insurance companies to see what you're eligible for and I can always verify with my biller as well.
